Abstract:
A display system and portable 3D display smart glasses. The display system comprises an optical waveguide substrate (200) and an image source (340). The optical waveguide substrate (200) is provided with an input grating (201), folding gratings (211) and output gratings (221), the input grating (201) is located at light input ends of the folding gratings (211), and the output gratings (221) are located at light output ends of the folding gratings (211). Light from the image source (340) is diffracted into the optical waveguide substrate (200) by means of the input grating (201), propagates towards the folding gratings (211) in the optical waveguide substrate (200) at an angle greater than the total reflection angle, and outputs a visible image by means of the output gratings (221). The present invention solves the problems of the current AR devices being too bulky and heavy and being unable to be folded and stored, and the present invention is of high operability, has a simple device structure, can be mass-produced, and has low costs.
