Abstract:
The present invention is provided with: a display device that includes a plurality of display units that are connected to each other; and a video signal generation circuit that generates a video signal input to the display device. The display device transmits a map information signal indicating the connection state of the plurality of display units to the video signal generation circuit. The video signal generation circuit lowers the frame rate and/or the image definition when the image size of the display device has exceeded a stipulated value on the basis of the map information signal. As a result, a display system including a plurality of display units can perform appropriate display in accordance with image size.
