Abstract:
Provided is a disposable article of clothing wherein elastic waist members can be arranged so as to not substantially intersect with an absorbent core, without cutting or eliminating part of said elastic waist members. The elastic waist members (28, 35) are arranged in a first waist area, which is either a front waist area (13) or a rear waist area (14), and have: upper-rear elastic waist members (28, 35) extending linearly along the outer edge of the first waist area; and lower elastic waist members (31, 37) positioned on the inner edge-side of the first waist area (13). The lower elastic waist members (31, 37) have center sections (31B, 37B) that curve outward towards the outside in the vertical direction (Y) at the center section of the first waist area in the horizontal direction (X), and the lower elastic waist members (31, 37) and the absorbent core (45) do not intersect.
