Abstract:
A disposable clinical thermometer, adopts a liquid discharging method to measure and
stabilize the measured temperature. A temperature sensing bulb (2) which is
a hollow cavity is set on one end of a pipe body (3), a simethicone temperature sensing
liquid and a sodium chloride chip (1) are loaded in the temperature sensing bulb
(2), a glycerin assistant liquid having obvious color difference with the temperature
sensing liquid is loaded in a capillary (6), a temperature storing bulb (4) and
temperature sensing bulb (2) are communicated with the capillary (6), a temperature
positioning device is set on the other end of the pipe body (3). Whenthe temperature
is measured, the temperature sensing liquid expands due to being heated and ascends
along the capillary (6) and makes the assistant liquid discharging into the valve
body (9) of the temperature positioning device. At this time, the temperature
positioning device is closed since the piston (10) has been forced down, at the
same time, sodium chloride will generate gas at a vacuum state to fill up the space
caused by the ascending and positioning of the temperature sensing liquid.
