Abstract:
A disposable diaper (10) includes: a front waist area (20); a back waist area (30); a crotch area (25); a pair of fastening tapes (90); an absorbent core (40a); a waist-encircling elastic portion (85) which is disposed at the rear edge of the disposable diaper and extends and retracts in the width direction; a sheet material disposed overlapping the waist-encircling elastic portion; and a joint portion row (87L) in which joint portions (87) which join the waist-encircling elastic portion to the sheet material are disposed spaced apart in the longitudinal direction. A plurality of the joint portion rows are disposed spaced apart in the width direction. The disposable diaper includes first regions (R1) which extend from both outside ends of the waist-encircling elastic portion toward the inside in the width direction, and which do not include the joint portion rows; a second region (R2) which extends rearward from the front edge of the waist-encircling elastic portion, and which does not include the joint portion rows; and third regions (R3) which are located to the inside of the first regions, in the width direction, are located further to the rear than the second region, and include the joint portion rows. The first regions are located further to the outside, in the width direction, than the absorbent core.
