Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a disposable diaper that is excellent in terms of absorbable amount and absorption rate. [Solution] The abovementioned problem is addressed using a pad type disposable diaper 200 characterized in that: a top sheet 22 comprises a thermoplastic nonwoven fabric; absorbent bodies 23A, 23B comprise a lower layer absorbent body 23B, and an upper layer absorbent body 23A provided on the front side thereof; a slit 40 having a prescribed width extends in the front-back direction at least to the upper layer absorbent body 23A at a crotch part C2; the slit 40 having a prescribed width is not provided to the lower layer absorbent body 23B; the top sheet 22 has a sagging part 30 that sags into the slit 40; and a large number of low-transmittance parts 80, in which fibers are fused to each other in a state compressed in the thickness direction, are provided with spacing at least at the sagging part 30.
