Abstract:
Provided is a disposable wearing article preventing a loss of absorptivity in an absorption panel and enabling rapid migration of bodily fluid to the absorption panel. A diaper (1) has a liquid-permeable inner sheet (20), a liquid-impermeable outer sheet (30), a liquid-absorbent absorption panel (40) positioned between the inner and outer sheets (20, 30), and a leak-proofing sheet (50) positioned between the absorption panel (40) and the outer sheet (30). A pair of entrapping sheets (60) spaced apart in the lateral direction (X) are formed on a skin-facing surface of the inner sheet (20). The absorption panel (40) has a liquid-absorbent core material (41) and a covering sheet (42), such as tissue paper, for covering the core material (41). A plurality of recesses (45) oriented toward an absorption surface (43) from a bottom surface (44) are provided to the absorption panel (40). The absorption surface (43) is not provided with any recesses (45) and is substantially level. First through fourth compression recesses (71 to 74) and a plurality of ridge parts (26) and groove parts (27) are formed on a surface (25) of the inner sheet (20).
