Abstract:
This dissimilar material joint structure 1 comprises a plate material 20, a welding nut 10 positioned on the obverse surface of the plate material, and a washer 30 positioned on the reverse surface of the plate material. The welding nut and the plate material are formed from mutually dissimilar materials. Protrusions 12 are provided to the seat surface of the welding nut. The plate material has: a bolt through-hole 23, which is provided along the center axis of the welding nut and through which passes a bolt 40 corresponding to the welding nut; and protrusion through-holes 24, which are provided around the periphery of the bolt through-hole and through which the protrusions pass. Instead of the welding nut being directly welded to the plate material, the welding nut and the washer are welded to each other at the protrusions passing through the protrusion through-holes and are thereby joined to the plate material.
