Abstract:
According to the present invention, a distance measurement range is expanded and a framerate is improved. The distance measurement device (1) according to the present embodiment comprises a light-emitting unit (100) that emits illumination light, and a measurement unit (200) that calculates the distance to a subject on the basis of impinging light. The light-emitting unit is provided with: a light-emitting element array (130) in which are provided a plurality of light-emitting elements arranged in an array; a drive circuit (120) that drives the plurality of light-emitting elements; and a first control circuit (110) that controls the drive circuit so as to execute first driving, in which two or more light-emitting elements belonging to a first region among the plurality of light emitting elements are caused to emit light at a first period, and second driving, in which two or more light-emitting elements belonging to a second region different from the first region are caused to emit light at the first period. The first control circuit controls the drive circuit so as to switch between the first driving and the second driving at least once within a prescribed period of time.
