Abstract:
A distance measurement device (100) is provided with: a fixed member (10); a movable member (20) that comprises a fixed section (21) and a deformable section (22) and in which one end (21a) of the fixed section (21) is connected to the fixed member (10) and the other end (21b) of the fixed section (21) is connected to the deformable section (22); an ultrasonic transceiver (30); and a reflective member (40). One of the ultrasonic transceiver (30) and the reflective member (40) is provided to the fixed member (10). The other of the ultrasonic transceiver (30) and the reflective member (40) is provided to the deformable section (22) so as to face the component that is provided to the fixed member (10). The distance (L) between the ultrasonic transceiver and the reflective member is changed as a result of deformation originating in the part of the deformable section (22) that is connected to the other end (21b) of the fixed section (21). The distance measurement device (100) makes it possible to achieve a reduction in size.
