Abstract:
A distance measuring device (1) comprises: a first imaging unit (10) and second imaging unit (20) that are disposed side-by-side such that the respective fields of view thereof overlap; a projection unit (30) that projects pattern light; a measurement unit (44) that performs a stereo correspondence point searching process with respect to images acquired by the first imaging unit (10) and the second imaging unit (20) and measures the distance to an object surface; and a control unit (41) that controls the projection unit (30). The projection unit (30) is provided with: a light source (31); a pattern generator (33) that generates pattern light with the light from the light source (31); at least one projection lens (34) that projects the pattern light; and an image formation adjustment unit (47) that changes, in the optical axis direction, the image formation position of pattern light from the projection lens (34). The control unit (41) controls the image formation adjustment unit (47) such that the image formation position of the pattern light corresponds to the distance to the object surface.
