Abstract:
The present invention relates to a distributed cluster management system and a method therefor, the system comprising: one or more work nodes for performing parallel processing of work requested by a client, using meta information required for distributed work processing; and one or more cluster management nodes for managing the work nodes in units of groups and synchronizing pieces of meta information by proceeding with a cluster operation process, so as to manage a work node connected to the cluster management node itself. Therefore, according to the present invention, work nodes can process work requested by a client by using only meta information so as to improve work processing performance. Further, when a failure occurs in a specific work node during cluster operation, re-access to the work node is allowed after synchronizing pieces of information required for work processing, without restarting the entire cluster, and then correcting the failure in the work node during operation without interruption of the distributed cluster system.
