Abstract:
To provide a distributed computing system capable of maximizing the amount of non-use time of individual client computers allotted to distributed computing. A distributed computing system including a server computer and a plurality of client computers, wherein each of the client computers includes: a schedule data recording part (20) for storing scheduling data indicating the time in which the client computer participates in distributed computing; a control part (22) for requesting the server computer for data relating to distributed computing in accordance with the schedule data; and a program execution part (20) for receiving data transmitted in response to the request and executing information processing relating to distributed computing on the basis of the received data.
