Abstract:
A distributed fiber Raman temperature-measuring apparatus and method based on ASE noise. The apparatus comprises an ASE noise light source (1), a first tunable optical filter (2), a first 1×2 fiber coupler (3), a photodetector (4), an optical circulator (5), a second 1×2 fiber coupler (6), a second tunable optical filter (7), a first avalanche photodetector (8), a first low-noise amplifier (9), a third tunable optical filter (10), a second avalanche photodetector (11), a second low-noise amplifier (12), a data collection card (13), a computer (14) and a sensing fiber (15). The apparatus and method solve the conflict between a spatial resolution and a measurement distance present in existing distributed fiber Raman temperature-measuring systems based on pulse light, and overcome the problem of system performance reduction brought about by a chaotic laser serving as a sensing signal itself in distributed fiber Raman temperature-measuring systems based on a chaotic laser.
