Abstract:
Provided is a technique for efficiently determining an optimal arrangement for distributed processing of an application. This distributed processing assistance apparatus for assisting distributed processing of an application, carried out by a plurality of information processing devices is provided with: a source code acquisition unit that acquires a source code of the application; a source code division unit that divides the source code into a plurality of logics; a candidate extraction unit that extracts candidates of arrangement patterns of the logics when the logics are to be distributed to any of the information processing devices, on the basis of the processing order of the logics in the application and information about the operation environment of the information processing devices; and an optimal pattern determination unit that determines an optimal arrangement pattern from among the extracted arrangement patterns.
