Abstract:
Provided are polarizing agent with which it is possible to selectively enhance an NMR signal by using a DNP-NMR method even in a reductive environment, and a method for selectively enhancing an NMR signal. The present invention is a polarizing agent used in a DNP-NMR method, the polarizing agent containing nanodiamond particles, and the surfaces of the nanodiamond particles being modified using a functional group capable of covalently bonding with or interacting with proteins. This polarizing agent makes it possible to selectively enhance an NMR signal by using a DNP-NMR method even in a reductive environment.
