Abstract:
Provided is a door handle device for a vehicle, the door handle device having excellent operability and satisfactory mountability.
In the door handle device for a vehicle, a frame is mounted to the outer panel of a slide door, then a link base, a connection link, and a hand grip are mounted to the frame, and after that a lever and a cap are mounted to the hand grip and the frame. Thus, the constituent members are mounted to the outer panel. In the device, when the hand grip is operated to open the slide door such that the hand grip is operated in the direction same as the direction (toward the rear of the vehicle) in which the slide door is opened, an operational force for unlocking a fully closing latch mechanism for holding the slide door in a fully closed state is generated. When the hand grip is operated to close the slide door by operating the hand grip in the direction same as the direction (toward the front of the vehicle) in which the slide door is closed, an operational force for unlocking a fully opening latch mechanism for holding the slide door in a fully open state is generated.
