Abstract:
The present invention relates to a door handle having a UV sterilizing function and is advantageous in that, every time a door is opened/closed and used, the resulting rotation of a lever switch triggers a UV sterilization action, thereby reducing the risk of viral contamination caused by contact made by multiple users, and guaranteeing safer use. In order to implement this, the present invention provides a door handle comprising: an inner housing (10) and an outer housing (10') provided on the inside and outside of a door symmetrically, respectively; a latch bolt (11) provided to protrude from a side wall surface of the door and configured to move straight such that a state of locking with a door frame can be configured; and a power transfer member (20) for transferring power for movement to the latch bolt (11) by operations of lever switches (12) provided on the inner housing (10) and the outer housing (10'), respectively. The inner housing (10) and the outer housing (10') have UV lamps (13) configured therein, respectively, so as to emit UV light in order to sterilize the surface of the lever switches (12).
