Abstract:
An elevator door, comprising a door main body having a front surface plate (11) facing a landing side, a rear surface plate (12) facing a hoistway side, and a reinforcement member (13) for reinforcing the front surface plate (11) and the rear surface plate (12), wherein the rear surface plate is connected to the front surface plate or reinforcement member through connection members (15) allowing a binding force applied to the front surface plate or reinforcement member to be lost under a high temperature condition at the time of occurrence of fire, whereby, by these connection members (15), the door main body of the elevator door can be suppressed from being deformed at the time of occurrence of fire of a building, the elevator door can be prevented from falling down, and thus smoke and flame can be prevented from entering the hoistway.
