A door hinge assembly, comprising a first gear (101), a second gear (102), and a snap-fit assembly (5). The first gear (101) is arranged on a primary door (6) by means of a first hinge plate (3); the second gear (102) is engaged with the first gear (101), and the second gear (102) is arranged on the primary door (6); the snap-fit assembly (5) is arranged on a secondary door (7), and the snap-fit assembly (5) is connected to the second gear (102) by means of a second hinge plate (4). When the primary door (6) is open, the first gear (101) is engaged with the second gear (102), the second gear (102) drives the second hinge plate (4) to rise, and the snap-fit assembly (5) is in a snap-fit state, so that the secondary door (7) moves in synchronization with the primary door (6). Also provided is a door-in-door refrigerator body. When a primary door is open, a secondary door can be automatically locked, and when the primary door is closed, the secondary door can be automatically unlocked, so that the problem of inconvenience for users to access items is solved, and the use experience of users is improved.
