Abstract:
A door hinge with a checker, wherein hinge members fixed to a body and a door are connected to each other through a hinge pin so as to be rotated relative to each other and a checker is installed between the both hinge members. The checker (19) comprises cam seats (28, 29) having slidable contact surfaces (30, 31) along a flat surface orthogonal to the axes of hinge pins (17, 18) fixed to the first hinge member (15) and locking recessed parts (32; 33, 34) and fixed to the second hinge member (16), and engagement pins (35, 36) brought into slidable contact with the slidable contact surfaces (30, 31) and engageable with the locking recessed parts (32; 34, 34) when the both hinge members (15, 16) are moved to prescribed relative rotating positions. The engagement pins (35, 36) are connected to the hinge pins (17, 18) so that the hinge pins (17, 18) can be disposed in a direction along its axis and cannot be rotated relative to each other, and energized to cam seat (28, 29) sides. Thus, the check can be disposed in a direction along the axes of the hinge pins to increase the degree of freedom of the shapes of the hinge members.
