Abstract:
Provided is a door latch device that can waterproof the entire surface of a circuit board. The door latch device 10 comprises: a circuit board 120 electrically connected to an electrical component; a first cover 22 that covers the inner surface of a case 20 to form a first accommodation space 36; a second cover 24 that covers the outer surface of the case 20 to form a second accommodation space 124 in which the circuit board 120 is accommodated; a pin hole 156 that causes the first accommodation space 36 and the second accommodation space 124 to communicate with each other; a pin 136 that stands upright from the circuit board 120 and protrudes from the pin hole 156 to the first accommodation space 36; a pin holder 146 that covers the surroundings of the base of the pin 136 and supports the pin 136 with respect to the circuit board 120; an external waterproof seal 126 that waterproofs a space between the outside and the second accommodation space 124; and an internal waterproof seal 166 that is provided between the edge of the pin holder 146 and the pin hole 156 and waterproofs a space between the first accommodation space 36 and the second accommodation space 126.
