Abstract:
A door lock device for an automobile capable of securely preventing the operating connection part of an operating means from falling off the operating lever connection part of an operating lever member. The door lock device comprises a housing (10) having a housing body with an opening part (13) and a cover part (122b) formed integrally with the housing body (12) and opening and closing the opening part (13), the operating lever member (21) disposed in the housing (10) and having the operating lever connection part (21c), and the operating means (52) having the operating connection part (52a) connected to the operating lever connection part (21c). The cover part (122b) of the housing is characterized by comprising a projected part (122c) preventing the operating connection part (52a) of the operating means (52) from falling.
