Abstract:
A door opening/closing mechanism used mainly for a vehicle body, comprising a control mechanism, two arms, a control member, and an opening/closing control section, wherein the door opening/closing mechanism is characterized in that a door body and the vehicle body are connected to each other through the two arms and the control mechanism. The control mechanism comprises a body and a switch body. The body has formed at one end thereof upper and lower connecting sections for connecting the body to a bearing through a shaft, and the body also has extensibly provided thereto a shaft which has a front end affixed to an L-shaped connecting element, the L-shaped connecting element being pivotably mounted to a connecting plate which is provided at the lower part thereof with a projecting plate. The switch body is provided with a knob and a connecting section which is connected through cords to adjusting knobs which are provided to the body, and the switch body is connected to a drive source. The two arms each comprise a flat plate-like arm body which has formed at the front end thereof a substantially L-shaped connecting section to which a front connecting member is affixed, and the rear end of the flat plate-like arm body is pivotably connected to a rear mounting member, the center part of which has a raised flat surface, through a rear connecting member which is bent in a substantially dogleg shape. The control member comprises a box body having at the upper part thereof an extensible projection (4b) and also having at the lower part thereof a release plate, and the control member is mounted to the center part of one of the arm bodies of the two arms. The opening/closing control section comprises a box body having an extensible projection and also comprises a control plate having cutouts in the upper and lower parts thereof, respectively, and the tip of the extensible projection is in contact with the control plate.
