Abstract:
A door safety device includes a door that is installed to be movable and that opens and closes across an opening and a horizontal multi axis optical sensor that uses a plane facing the opening of the door and an area at a prescribed distance from the plane as the detection area. The device also includes a control means that performs control to prohibit opening of the door while the door is opening if the horizontal multi axis optical sensor is activated.
