Abstract:
A door open/closed state detection unit 1 that is configured so as to be attachable to an outer surface 23 of a plate-shaped door 2 having a latch bolt, detects the open/closed state of the door 2, and comprises: an infrared LED 31 that irradiates light so as to face the locking edge 25 direction of the door 2 when attached to the door 2; a light detection unit 32 comprising a photodiode 321 that detects light from the locking edge 25 direction; and an open/closed detection unit 141 that detects the open/closed state of the door 2, on the basis of whether or not light was detected by the light detection unit 32.
