DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The object of the present invention is a door that can be applied, in particular, to apertures of closets, shelves and the like.

Specifically, but not exclusively, it can be used as a door leaf or mobile part or shutter constrained rotatably, so as to close apertures of closets, shelves or the like, for example of the type aimed at fitting out inner furnishing of industrial vehicles, often fitted to act as mobile workshops.

Some characteristics, such as lightness, solidity, simplicity and handling safety, together with the structural and assembling simplicity of the devices, are particularly important for the furnishing devices of such types of vehicles.

In particular, the possibility of preparing the elements such as door leaves in a simple way and using few standardized components is considerably important, not only from the economic point of view .

The problem is particularly felt in the present known technique, which, in order to face up to the necessity to obtain door leaves or doors of different dimensions, normally has to use a plurality of expensive special equipments so as to give shape to the door leaves, often made in sheet metal, or to use relatively long assembling operations which increase the costs, as well as give origin to door leaves characterized by a moderate number of components and a considerable overall weight.

The main object of the present invention is to overcome shortcomings of the known technique by means of a leaf door or mobile part or shutter constrained rotatably to a door opening, which can be applied in particular to apertures of closets, shelves and the like, of the type comprising at least one door leaf or mobile part or shutter constrained rotatably to an aperture, that is constituted substantially by assembling of the following elements:- a first element in the form of a section member, which is provided with at least one first longitudinal coupling seat; - a second element in the form of a section member, which is provided with at least one second longitudinal coupling seat and in correspondence to which the hinge axis is arranged; - a flat shaped central element or panel, having a first and second edge situated at opposite sides and prepared so that the first edge can be coupled within said first coupling seat and the second edge can be coupled within said second coupling seat; - at least one connecting element having shape and dimension such as to be fastened to the head ends of said first element in the form of a section member and of said second element in the form of a section member, arranged in correspondence to the same side of the flat shaped central element coupled to the first coupling seat and with the second coupling seat of said first and second elements in the form of section members.

The various elements are used in the form of pieces which are cut depending on the dimensions of the finished door leaf, i.e. when the mounting is completed.

The advantages given by the invention are, among others, the standardization that allows to use few basic components, the possibility to adapt any dimensions range without the necessity to use dedicated equipments, the mounting simplicity and rapidity.

The listed objects and advantages are substantially obtained by the invention in accordance with what is described in the specification and claimed.

Further characteristics and advantages of the present invention will become clearer from the following detailed description of an embodiment of the invention under discussion, illustrated by way of example, but not limiting, in the enclosing Figures, in which:

- Figure 1 is a perspective exploded view of a door leaf according to the invention;

- Figure 2 is a schematic transversal section thereof;

- Figures 3 and 4 illustrate a detail of the section of Figure 2 in two different operational configurations of the door leaf according to the invention in two different configurations.

With reference to the above mentioned Figures, the reference numeral 10 indicates the leaf of a door as a whole, which can be applied in particular to apertures of closets, shelves and the like, for example of the type aimed at fitting out inner furnishing of industrial vehicles, often fitted to act as mobile workshops.

In this case, the door leaf 10 or moving part or shutter is rotatably constrained to an aperture, which is delimited by a fixed structure 6, generally metallic, of the type which is frequently used to obtain shelves for vehicles inner furnishing. The door leaf 10 is composed of few components, mounted one to another and includes:

- a first element in the form of a section member 1 , which is provided with at least one first longitudinal coupling seat 1 1 ;

- a second element in the form of a section member 3, which is provided with at least one second longitudinal coupling seat 31 and in correspondence to which the hinge axis is arranged;

- a flat shaped central element or panel 2, having a first and second edge situated at opposite sides and so shaped that the first edge can be coupled within the first coupling seat 1 1 and the second edge can be coupled within the second coupling seat 21 ;

- at least one connecting element 4 having shape and dimension such as to be fastened to the head ends of the first element in the form of a section member 1 and of the second element in the form of a section member 3, arranged on the same side of the flat shaped central element 2 coupled to the first coupling seat 11 and with the second coupling seat 21 of said first and second elements in the form of a section member 1 and 3.

The first coupling seat 11 and the second coupling seat 31 are hollow and their shapes and dimensions are such as to perfectly receive the first and second edge, opposite to each other, of the central element or panel 2, which not only has a flat shape, but also has a constant thickness.

The first element in the form of a section member 1 has a first concave shaping 12 along the side turned outwards, which acts as a handle and allows to grip the door leaf.

Along the side turned inwards, the first element in the form of a section member 1 has a concave seat 13, set alongside of the first coupling seat 11. This concave seat 13 is aimed at allowing thereinside coupling and uncoupling of at least a locking member or pin 15 fastened to the fixed structure 6 that forms the aperture, at least by relative movement parallel to said central element or panel 2. In the illustrated embodiment, the door leaf 10 is hinged about a horizontal axis and the coupling of the concave seat 13 with the corresponding fixed member or pin 15 integral with the fixed structure 6 is sufficient to ensure closing due to gravity.

Said hinge axis is situated in a position diametrically opposite to the second coupling seat 31 of the second element 3, to which pins or pivots 5 are fastened, which are coupled free-to-move within slots 7. The latter are arranged, vertically in the illustrated embodiment, in such a way as to allow the pins 5 coupled therein, not only to rotate, but also to move in a vertical direction, and more generally, perpendicular to the hinge axis, at least as to allow coupling and uncoupling with the concave seat 7 of a locking member fastened to the fixed structure that delimits said aperture.

The assembly constituted by the first element in the form of a section member 1 and the second element in the form of a section member 3, both mounted to the central element or panel 2 by coupling the opposite edges of the latter with the first and second coupling seat 11 and 21 , is held together by two connecting elements 4, whose shapes and dimensions allow them to be fastened symmetrically to both sides of the head ends of the first and second element in the form of a section member 1 and 3.

Each connecting element 4 is fastened to the head ends of the first and second element in the form of a section member 1 and 3 by means of screw connection means 8. Preferably, connections with tap bolts that screw into suitable seats made in the section members, are used.

Furthermore, each said connecting element 4 is provided with a seat 41 , adapted so that a part of the edge of the flat shaped central element 2, facing the connecting element, can be coupled therein.

The elements in the form of section members 1 and 3, preferably made in aluminium alloy, are section members simply cut to the desired measure, which obviously depends on the dimensions of the door leaf to be made. The flat shaped central element 2 is constituted by a cannulated plastic material panel and is shaped like a parallelogram with right angles (that is, it is rectangular or squared).

The two connecting elements 4, which are fastened to the head ends of the assembly of the elements in the form of a section member coupled in the described way to the central element or panel 2, are symmetrical and are preferably made of shaped steel sheet. The seats 41 for coupling with the edges of the central element or panel 2 are obtained by simply folding the suitable edges 42.

The second element in the form of section member 3 has, at its outer side, a second concave shaping 32, whose function is to allow the complete aperture of the door leaf (see Fig. 2), that is a wide rotation on the pins 5 around the hinge axis, reducing to the minimum the interference of the same door leaf with the fixed structure 6.

In fact, the door leaf as a whole is made and shaped in such a way that in the closing position its outer surfaces are at the same level of the outer structure 6 or protrude a bit with respect thereto.

The door leaf obtained by assembling the indicated components can be constrained in other way to the fixed structure 6, for example by means of a system of levers, that give origin to an articulated quadrilateral configuration, which allows the door leaf to move by remaining substantially parallel to itself.
