Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of base station antennas, in particular to a double-layer director and a multi-frequency base station antenna array applying same. The double-layer director comprises a first director and a second director mounted above the first director, and the second director comprises a dielectric substrate and a split type metal copper foil mounted on the dielectric substrate. According to the present invention, the split type metal copper foil is provided on the dielectric substrate, so that the impact of a resonance current of the director on a high-frequency radiation unit is weakened, the boundary of the radiation unit is also simplified and coupling and mutual interference between high-low frequency radiation units are reduced, and distortion of a directional pattern caused by superposition of scattered waves is avoided, so that the multi-frequency base station antenna has consistent and stable horizontal half-power lobe width and gain in a working frequency band.
