A double-wall cofferdam and a pier construction method using same. The double wall cofferdam comprises at least one double-wall cofferdam unit; the double-wall cofferdam unit comprises a wall body (1), a cutting edge (2), an inner support rod (3), and a guide mechanism (4); the cutting edge (2) is arranged at a bottom end of the wall body (1); the inner support rod (3) is horizontally located inside an inner panel (11) of the wall body (1) and is connected to the inner panel (11) of the wall body (1); the guide mechanism (4) comprises a connecting rod (41) and a guide plate (42); the guide plate (42) is connected to the inner panel (11) of the wall body (1) by means of the connecting rod (41); the curvature of the guide plate (42) is adapted to the curvature of the outer wall of a protective cylinder (5) of a drilling pile; and a gap is provided between the guide plate (42) and the outer wall of the protective cylinder (5). The double-wall cofferdam has high structural strength and stability, good water-stopping effect, and reasonable structural design. The structure does not need to be adjusted multiple times during the construction process, so that a smooth construction progress can be ensured.
