Abstract:
The present invention relates to a doughnut-type cake and to a production method therefor, the production method comprising: a cake ingredients mixing step; a circular ring cake molding and cutting step of molding an elliptical ring-shaped cake by passing the mixed cake ingredients through an elliptically-shaped mold, and for cutting the elliptical ring-shaped cake using a wire in such a manner that the long axis of the elliptical cake is positioned in the direction of the movement of the wire, which compresses the long axis of the cake to form the cake into a circular ring-shaped cake; a step of baking the circular ring-shaped cake in an oven; a step of coating an alcohol syrup on the surface of the oven-baked cake; a step of concentrating and mixing jam or cream; a step of coating the circular ring-shaped cake with the jam or cream and then joining same with another circular ring cake to produce a complete doughnut-shaped cake; and a step of coating and forming a surface pattern with chocolate.
