Abstract:
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a receiver may receive, from a transmitter, downlink control information (DCI) indicating passive sensing configuration information, wherein the passive sensing configuration information indicates one or more reference signals transmitted by the transmitter that are configured to be used for passive sensing. The receiver may monitor the one or more reference signals transmitted by the transmitter to sense one or more objects in an environment surrounding the receiver based at least in part on the passive sensing configuration information indicated in the DCI. Numerous other aspects are provided.
