Abstract:
The present application discloses a downlink power control method and apparatus, the method comprising: a network management node determining a low-energy consumption region, the low-energy consumption region being a region which is within the signal coverage range of a network node and for which the communication distance to the network node is greater than a first preset distance; and generating a power control policy, the power control policy being used to control the network node to reduce the energy consumption for the low-energy consumption region, and the network node executing the power control policy so as to save energy. In embodiments of the present application, energy is saved for the load of some regions in a cell, and energy-saving gain is fully obtained.
