Abstract:
Provided is a drilling position determination system capable of appropriately determining a drilling start position according to the shape of an object to be drilled. The drilling position determination system comprises an imaging device (9) that images an object (100) to be drilled having a mound-like shape and a bucket (12) of a work machine, and a start position determination unit (8) capable of determining the drilling start position of the bucket with respect to the object to be drilled. The start position determination unit determines, as the drilling start position on the basis of detection data from the imaging device, a bucket position where the bucket is not entirely hidden behind the object to be drilled but the object to be drilled and the bucket partially overlap each other when the bucket is viewed from the body of the work machine.
