Abstract:
A drilling tool that forms a hole in a cylinder head, which is the workpiece, wherein a valve seat and a valve guide of an intake valve or an exhaust valve of the engine cylinder head are press fit into the hole. The tool comprises cutting portions 31, 32, 34 for drilling a hole, and cutting portions 33, 35 for machining arcuate faces to form an arcuate face that is coaxial with the hole and has an arcuate cross-sectional shape as seen from a direction orthogonal to the axial direction of the hole. The cutting portions 31, 32, 34 for drilling are formed integrally with a tool body 30. The cutting portions 33, 35 for machining arcuate faces are configured from a replaceable bit 36 that can be removed from the tool body 30.
