Abstract:
This drip infusion monitoring device is attachable to a drip cylinder, and monitors the dripping of droplets within the drip cylinder. The drip infusion monitoring device is provided with: a light emission unit which is disposed radially outward of the drip cylinder, and is capable of emitting illumination light to the inside of the drip cylinder simultaneously from different positions in the circumferential direction of the drip cylinder; a light reception unit which is disposed to face the light emission unit across the drip cylinder, and is capable of receiving the illumination light; and a light guide unit which is disposed between the drip cylinder and the light reception unit and in which a light guide path for limiting the illumination light received at the light reception unit is formed.
