Abstract:
A DC input voltage VH is supplied to an input terminal IN, and an output terminal OUT is connected with a semiconductor light-emitting element 402. A half-bridge circuit 510 includes: a high-side transistor MH that is provided between the input terminal IN and a switching node SW; and a low-side transistor ML that is provided between the switching node SW and a ground terminal GND. In accordance with a light emission command S1 for the light-emitting element 402A, a control circuit 530 controls both the high-side transistor MH and the low-side transistor ML to be in an on state during a first period T1, and controls only the high-side transistor MH to be in the on state during a second period T2 following the first period T1.
