Abstract:
A door closer (100) comprises a striker (ST) provided on a main body of a motor vehicle so as to be engageable with a latch (12) provided on a trunk lid, a closer mechanism portion (20) for closing the trunk lid by pulling in the striker (ST) engaged with the latch (12), and a closer drive portion (30) for operating the closer mechanism portion (20). The closer drive portion (30) comprises two drive motors (32u, 32b), two worms (33u, 33b) provided on the drive motors (32u, 32b), and a worm wheel (34) engaged with the worms (33u, 33b). The closer mechanism portion (20) is operated through the rotation of the worm wheel (34) driven by the drive motors (32u, 32b).
