One embodiment of a drive device according to the present invention is a drive device which causes an axle of a vehicle to rotate, provided with: a motor including a motor shaft which rotates about a motor axis; a speed reducing device connected to the motor shaft; a differential device which is connected to the speed reducing device and which causes the axle to rotate about a differential axis; a housing which includes a motor accommodating portion accommodating the motor, and a gear accommodating portion accommodating the speed reducing device and the differential device, and inside which oil is accommodated; and an electric oil pump for feeding the oil within the housing. The differential axis coincides with the motor axis. The motor shaft is a hollow shaft which is open at both sides in the axial direction. The axle passes through the interior of the motor shaft. The electric oil pump supplies the oil into a radial gap between the motor shaft and the axle.
