Abstract:
In a drive device (100), a motor (10) and a controller (20) are configured integrally. A metal rear frame (30) is provided on an end portion of the motor (10), on the controller (20) side thereof in the axial direction. An electronic component constituting the controller (20) is mounted on a board (40). A cover (60) in the shape of a bottomed cylinder has a plurality of flexible latching portions (67, 68) capable of engaging, in a snap fitting manner, with a plurality of fixed latching portions (37, 38) provided on a side surface of the rear frame (30), and the cover (60) is fixed to the rear frame (30) to cover the board (40). The cover (60) has a pseudo-cylindrical portion (63), of which at least a portion of the projected shape in the axial direction is configured as a circular arc or a curve analogous to a circular arc. A flat surface portion (632) is formed on a portion of a side surface of the pseudo-cylindrical portion (63). At least some of the flexible latching portions (67) are provided on the flat surface portion (632) of the pseudo-cylindrical portion (63).
