Abstract:
[Problem] To ameliorate backlash of a drive force transmission device in which an input-side rotating shaft and an output-side rotating shaft are not parallel. [Solution] This drive force transmission device 1 comprises first and second rotation parts 2, 3 and balls 5A, 5B, 5C, which are described below. First, the first rotation part 2 has a recessed surface 7 that is responsible for one of input and output of drive force, and the second rotation part 3 has a protruding surface 13 that fits into the recessed surface 7 and is responsible for the other of input and output of the drive force. In addition, the balls 5A, 5B, 5C are held between the recessed surface 7 and the protruding surface 13. Moreover, holes 32A, 32B, 32C in which the balls 5A, 5B, 5C are respectively and separately accommodated are provided in the recessed surface 7, and grooves 29, 30 in which portions of the balls 5A, 5B, 5C that project from the respective holes 32A, 32B, 32C are accommodated are provided in the protruding surface 13.
