Abstract:
A driver adequately applicable to even a small-sized moving toy, comprising a base (10), a swingable body (16) reciprocatingly swingable on a predetermined axis with respect to the base, an electromagnet (20) attached to one of the base and the swingable body, a control circuit (25) for controlling the current supplied to the electromagnet (25), magnetic bodies (21, 22) attached to the other of the base and swingable body so as to allow the swingable body to reciprocatingly swing with respect to the base by the magnetic force acted on both the electromagnet and the magnetic bodies, a ratchet mechanism having a ratchet pawl (32) and ratchet teeth (31) engaged with the ratchet pawl and adapted to convert the reciprocatingly swinging movement of the swingable body into a rotating movement of a wheel (17).
