Abstract:
A driver state monitoring apparatus and monitoring method. The apparatus and method obtain relevant parameters related to driver movements etc. by monitoring body movements and facial movements of a driver, also obtain relevant data related to the degree of driver concentration according to the relevant parameters related to the driver movements etc., and thereby prevent the driver from being distracted while driving and affecting driving safety. In addition, the driver state monitoring apparatus and monitoring method can also apply corresponding stimulation means to the driver according to the relevant data related to the degree of driver concentration, so as to increase the degree of driver concentration.
