Abstract:
Provided is a driver configured so that the size of a piston will not increase in a center axis direction. A driver (10) has: a driver blade (23) for impacting a fastener (48); a piston (18) to which the driver blade (23) is mounted; a cylinder (16) in which the piston (18) is accommodated so that the piston (18) can reciprocate; and an air pressure chamber (21) for impacting the piston (18). The driver (10) further has: a seal member (55) provided on the outer peripheral surface of the piston (18) and in contact with the cylinder (16); and a slide ring (56) provided on the outer peripheral surface of the piston (18) and guiding the reciprocal movement of the piston (18) within the cylinder (16).
