Abstract:
A driver's seat airbag device of an automobile comprises: an airbag mounted on the steering wheel of an automobile and including a front panel facing the steering wheel and a rear panel facing a driver during inflation caused by a collision of the automobile; and an adjustment device for adjusting the lower inflation volume of the driver's seat airbag so as to prevent the driver's seat airbag from pressing the driver's lower chest in a state in which the driver's seat airbag is inflated. According to this configuration, during a collision of an automobile, the driver's lower chest can be effectively prevented from being injured secondarily by the airbag which is inflated and deployed.
