Abstract:
This driving assistance device 1 is provided with: a driver identification unit 2 that identifies a driver driving a vehicle; an evaluation data acquisition unit 5 that acquires evaluation data regarding the pre-evaluated visual recognition performance of the driver with respect to an event at the time of driving of the vehicle; an event detection unit 6 that uses surroundings information data indicating the state of the surroundings of the vehicle as a basis to detect whether the event has occurred; and a processing unit 7 that, when the event is detected, determines whether to output notification information from an output unit 9 on the basis of the evaluation data for the driver relating to the event and causes the output unit 9 to output the notification information when it is determined that notification information is to be output.
