Abstract:
A driving assistance device 1 comprises a parking row acquisition unit 11, 12, 13A that acquires parking spaces PL and/or parked vehicles VL that are in the surroundings of a vehicle 100 and also acquires parking rows PR in which the number of consecutive acquired parking spaces PL and/or parked vehicles VL is at least a first threshold value, a parking lot situation determination unit 16 that determines whether the vehicle 100 is in a parking lot P that has a parking row PR, a misoperation determination unit 17 that acquires the operation state of an acceleration operator and, on the basis of the operation state, determines whether a passenger has performed a misoperation of stepping on the acceleration operator in error, and a control unit 18 that executes drive force suppression control that suppresses the drive force of the vehicle 100 when the parking lot situation determination unit 16 has determined that the vehicle 100 is in a parking lot P and the misoperation determination unit 17 has determined that a passenger has performed a misoperation.
