Abstract:
A driving assistance device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a recognition unit that recognizes the surrounding situation of a vehicle; a driving control unit that executes lane keep control for controlling at least steering of the vehicle such that the vehicle travels within a predetermined lane, on the basis of the recognition results of the recognition unit; and a reception unit that receives a vehicle lane change intention through an operation by an occupant of the vehicle. The driving control unit stops the lane keep control when the reception unit receives the lane change intention during the execution of the lane keep control, and restarts the lane keep control at a timing earlier than completion of the lane change.
