Abstract:
A driving assistance device of an embodiment of the present invention is provided with: an acquisition unit for acquiring the degree of drowsiness of a driver who is driving a vehicle, on the basis of inputted information relating to the driver; a calculation unit for calculating a predicted loss-of-effect time indicating a predicted time at which drowsiness can no longer be eliminated even if the driver is stimulated, on the basis of a time interval in which the degree of drowsiness acquired by the acquisition unit has become at least a prescribed threshold value; and a control unit for varying control over the driver as the predicted loss-of-effect time calculated by the calculation unit becomes shorter.
