Abstract:
A driving device for a liquid crystal panel. The driving device for a liquid crystal panel comprises: a scanning driver (110), used for applying a scanning voltage to pixels (PX) arranged in an array manner in the liquid crystal panel; and a data driver (120), used for receiving image data (DAT) and a polarity inversion signal, and obtaining, according to the image data (DAT), an original data voltage to be provided to each column of pixels (PX), and is used for determining, according to the polarity inversion signal, whether to give, according to a scanning direction, a gain to the original data voltage to be provided to each column of pixels (PX), and providing the original data voltage or the gained data voltage to each column of pixels (PX). A driving method for a liquid crystal panel. When the polarity of a polarity inversion signal is converted from a negative polarity to a positive polarity, a data voltage applied to a data line (D1-DM) is gradually increased according to a scanning direction; in this way, when the polarity of the polarity inversion signal is converted from a positive polarity to a negative polarity, because a greater quantity of charges are injected to pixels (PX) seriously losing electricity, the phenomena of uniform brightness of a picture displayed by the liquid crystal panel can be remarkably alleviated.
