Abstract:
Provided is a driving device for a semiconductor switch, the driving device that drives semiconductor switch having no body diode and having a lower threshold voltage than a threshold voltage for a silicon device, wherein the threshold voltage is used to turn the semiconductor switch off and on. The driving device includes a first driving voltage switching circuit which switches a driving voltage for the semiconductor switch to a first adjustment voltage between an off voltage and an on voltage at a specified time point immediately before a timing when the semiconductor switch is driven from the off state to the on state, and a second driving voltage switching circuit which switches the driving voltage for the semiconductor switch to the on voltage at a timing when the semiconductor switch is driven from the off state to the on state after the first driving voltage switching circuit switches the driving voltage for the semiconductor switch.
